Hearthroot Baking is a years long dream in the making.

When I was a kid I would experiment with baking; much to the dismay of my parents, who would come in to find a mountain of dishes and cake batter on the ceiling. Growing up didn’t deter my culinary fervor, I hosted dinner party potlucks in college, spent a summer between classes perfecting the snickerdoodle and eventually enrolled in a culinary apprenticeship.

Two kids and many kitchen jobs later, I decided to follow in mother’s footsteps and start my own small business. I am now the third generation of women in my family to start a business and am excited to continue the tradition and share products I am proud of. I hope you enjoy them.
